
Hyundai showed the first images of the new version of 2010 Equus. The model developed under the code name Project VI. Sales are scheduled to begin in South Korea as early as next month.
Unlike previous versions, the updated model will get rear-wheel drive. Now, Equus will be able to compete with premium sedans European manufacturers. The car will be more predecessor in all dimensions - the length of 5160 millimeters, width - 1900 mm, height - 1496 mm.
Equus will be equipped with engines 3,8 (V6) and 4.6 liters (V8). Customers will also provide long version of the new 5-liter power units. In addition, the sedan is equipped with an updated system of exchange rate stability, road markings and a sensor LED optics.
Note that the previous generation sedans Equus (sold in Europe under the name Centennial) issued since 1998. The vehicle was developed jointly with Mitsubishi: 2010 Hyundai Equus is a copy of the Japanese model Proudia.
